1961 – founded as the germanium production of Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant.

1968-1969 – start of germanium dioxide export.

1970 – start of germanium polycrystalline zone-refined export.

1986 – start of production of germanium tetrachloride for optical fiber.

1987 – production of the first ultra pure germanium monocrystals.

1991 – withdrawal from Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant, establishment of State Enterprise Germanium

1994 – foundation of joint Russian and Uzbek company producing concentrates containing germanium

1999 – the company became as a Federal State Unitarian Enterprise

2000 – start of production of generated blanks IR optics.

2001-2002 – purchase of new high-precision equipment for Germanium machining.

2005 – development and application of know-how allowing to produce large dimension rectangular blanks.

2008 – award in category of Most Upswing from Ministry of Industry and Trade.

2010 – company has reorganized to Open joint stock company GERMANIUM
